Axon Radio Honors Late Saxophonist Andy Kellogg With Heartfelt New Single, “Welcome to the Bright Side”

Axon Radio is proud to announce the release of their newest single, “Welcome to the Bright
Side,” an uplifting tribute to their longtime friend and collaborator, saxophonist Andy
Kellogg. The track carries deep emotional weight for the band, following Andy’s unexpected
passing just three weeks after their previous single, “Parkside Drive,” became Axon Radio’s
first-ever song to reach #1 on the Urban Influencer chart.
Andy’s musicianship and friendship left a lasting impact on the band, making the creation
of this follow-up single both a celebration and a farewell. To honor Andy’s legacy, the band
enlisted acclaimed saxophone artist Jeff Ryan, whose expressive tone and signature style
bring new life to the current release. Known for his chart-topping Smooth Jazz hits, Jeff’s
performance captures the spirit of Andy’s sound while adding a compelling dynamic of his
own.
“Welcome to the Bright Side” also includes performances from guitarist Joel Del Rosario
and rising violinist Nathan Klatt.

Axon Radio Helps Musicians with Latest Single “Parkside Drive” – A Melodic Tribute to Their Musical Roots

The Indianapolis smooth jazz duo Axon Radio proudly presents their latest single, “Parkside Drive,” a musical journey back to the place where it all started. Composed by bassist Cory Carleton and drummer Travis Brant, who also produced the track, “Parkside Drive” features a blend of soulful melodies and smooth grooves.
This standout release showcases an impressive ensemble of musicians, including Joel Del Rosario on lead guitar, Andy Kellogg on saxophone, and Scott Naylor on rhythm guitar. Steve Sykes adds his signature touch to the mix while lending additional support on guitar. Paul Blakemore, a multi-Grammy winning engineer, polished the final audio master, making Parkside Drive an artistic and immersive listening experience.
To mark the release, Axon Radio has teamed up with Jireh Music (jirehmusic.org), a non-profit music program that helps artists struggling in the music industry. As part of this partnership, Axon Radio is donating all online sales of their music to Jireh Music throughout February and March.
“‘Parkside Drive’ isn’t just about music; it’s about giving back,” said Cory Carleton. “By partnering with Jireh Music, we hope to make a real difference in the lives of musicians who need it most.”
